Seven
members served lunch at St Vincent de Paul.
They included Charles on the cups, Robert at the rice, Bob with the
beans, Calvin and his cabbage, Bill on the bread, Doug at the dessert and
finally Carl “peachy person” on the peaches.
Approximately 165 diners were served.
All servers agreed it was a great experience.
There was banter with the diners and much among the servers; such as
questioning one server and his friend’s abilities at basketball – it was
noted that these older guys certainly could and did dribble.
Several other “situations” occurred.
Next time be there and enjoy the camaraderie.
We would have had pictures, but that is another story.
This
is intended to be a quarterly event. So
sign up with Robert Schmidt as soon as possible.
