Seated at the head table with President Jodi Moscona were Terry Bell and our speaker. Jodi chose Dale Hodges to sing, Cal Robbins to pledge allegiance to the flag, and Joe Culotta to pray. Brett Mason introduced our guests: Chad Olivier had his sister, Colleen; Nick Borghart from the LSU Circle K club, and John Hewitt from Early Risers.

John Hewitt was selling tickets to their club's Red Beans and Rice dinner at Southern University on Sat. April 12, 2003 beginning at 11:00 A.M. Tickets are $4.00. Please support our fellow clubs in their fundraising activities.

Bob Schmidt announced that this Saturday, April 5, 2003 we will have our Perkins Rd. cleanup project beginning at 7:00 A.M. at Bob's old office at 10935 Perkins Rd. All club members are invited to participate.

Nominees for the upcoming year were announced by Jodi and include Brandt Edwards, president; Brett Mason for the unified president-elect/vice president; Chad Olivier for secretary; David Cresson, Steve Brown, Jeff Koonce, and Jerry Boyce for Board of Directors.

Terry Bell offered rides to any interested members in the Hummer he brought today.

Jodi would like us to have an interclub with the LSU Circle K Club at their installation banquet on Saturday night, April 26, 2003. Tickets are $15.00.

Terry Bell introduced our speaker, Mark Brommer who is in the Naval Reserve. Mark was called up after 9-11 and was assigned to the USS Constitution in Boston Harbor. Mark told us the U.S. Navy was established in 1794 to protect trade routes and initially consisted of six ships, including the USS Constitution. "Old Ironsides" was never defeated in battle and is the oldest commissioned naval ship still afloat.

In the Jackpot were yours truly, Jay Jalenak, and Julie Dauzat, who was not eligible.
