New Meeting Location Effective October 1: The Great Wall

The song for the September 10 meeting was performed by Bill Stracener; Jay led the Pledge; Joe C said Grace.

Announcements:

• Effective October 1, the Club will meet at The Great Wall restaurant on College Drive - same day and time. This is to avoid a $10/quarter dues increase needed to stay at the Marriott.
• Because of Chad Olivier's resignation (not from the club, just as secretary), the presidentially-appointed nominating committee has nominated the following individuals for the positions noted:

Jerry Boyce - 2^nd Vice President
Ben Brown - Secretary
Dee Cothern - Board member

Elections will take place at the September 17 meeting.

• Nataly Ortiz has taken over the jackpot duties. Good luck Nataly.
  
• The club is working the LSU Book Bazar on October 2 from 5-7 p.m. Please let Joe know if you are interested in helping.

The Club's guests included Brad Anding and Bruce Young with Catholic High Key Club.

Brandt introduced our speaker - our very own Bob Schmidt. Bob presented a picture show of his 35^th college reunion from Yale, part of which was held at the White House. Bob had some great pictures of some very famous rooms and national treasures, and even managed to have a snapshot with President Bush.

The jackpot was lost by Jason Darensbourg.
