Jerry Boyce introduced our speaker, Lee Brecheen, editor and publisher of the Louisiana Football magazine. Lee brought a complimentary copy for all members. He noted that Texas produces 200 Div. 1-A college football prospects each year, and La. produces 150. His sources tell him that this year, if we win the SEC crown, we'll be back in the Sugar Bowl on Jan.1. With one more win, we'll go to the Cotton or Outback Bowls, and we get to pick. In high school football, he expects Redemptorist High to make it to the Superdome, noted CHS also has a good chance for a championship and Evangel is the team to beat.

In the jackpot were Dick Roberts, Jack Gill and Wilson Baldridge who was not eligible.

Next week's program is TBA.
