President-elect Brett Mason presided over the meeting because President Brandt Edwards was out of town on business.
The club approved Julie Dauzat for the vacancy on the board of administrators.
Last Week's Speaker
Dr. Ken Ward, executive director of the Louisiana Moral and Civic Foundation spoke at our Nov. 26 meeting. Ward spoke on the state of ethics in Louisiana and foundation's role in the state.
He surveyed our club and found that our club ranked the state of ethics in Louisiana slightly below average. He reported that our club's score was similar to the Downtown Kiwanis Club's score.

Member Spotlight: Terry L. Bell
Terry Bell was born and raised in South Bend, Ind. In 1965, Bell joined the army and spent two years in Germany.
Bell returned home in 1967 to attend evening school at Indiana University at South Bend. At that time, he worked days at the Chevrolet Motor Division of GM.
Upon graduation from IUSB, Chevrolet promoted him to district manager and transferred him to Alexandria. From Louisiana he was transferred to Gulfport, Ms. While in Mississippi, Bell called on Gerry Lane in Pascagoula, Ms., and went to work for Lane.
Bell began work with Lane 23 years ago. Bell currently serves as the operation manager for Gerry Lane Enterprises which includes Gerry Lane Chevrolet, Gerry Lane Saturn and Gerry Lane Buick-Pontiac-GMC-Hummer-Saab.
Bell has been married to his wife Judy for 34 years and has two adult children, Chad and Heather. Bell's hobbies include bird hunting, shooting skeet and spending time at the deer camp.
Dec. 3 Speaker: Gerry Lane
Gerry Lane will be the guest speaker at the Dec. 3 meeting. He will talk about the Angola Rodeo.

Jambalaya Sale: The sale was a success with over 400 plates served!
Reality House: All members are reminded to bring toys and clothes for the children of Reality House to the Wed., Dec. 3 meeting.
Christmas Party: This year's holiday party will be held Dec. 21 at Steve Brown's house.
Member Training: A member training seminar will be held Thurs., Dec. 4 at 6:00 p.m. at the district office.
Club Shirts: The golf shirts and t-shirts are in. Golf shirts cost $16.95 and tshirts cost $6.00.
Kiwanian of the Month - October: Two members were named Kiwanian of the Month for October. Charles Rea and Charles Comeaux were both recognized for their contributions to the LSU Book Sale & the Jay Cresson Memorial Golf Tournament. The winners both received a CCK t-shirt.
Kiwanian of the Month - November: Carlos Ortiz was named November's Kiwanian of the Month. Ortiz sold not only his own jambalaya sale tickets but also the tickets of a senior member who was unable to sell his tickets. He was also recognized for bringing a prospective member to a meeting.
