The song for the November 27^th meeting was led by Dale Hodges; Charles Rea said a special and wonderful Thanksgiving Day prayer; David Cooley led the Pledge; and Bob Schmidt made the introductions.

The Club's guests included Erica Martin (Rick's son) and John Daniel (David's son), both from U-High Key Club.

Announcements:

Jerry Boyce introduced our speaker, Trooper Johnny Brown with the Louisiana State Police. Trooper Brown told us about the year-long program the State Police is running concerning seat belts. Trooper Brown gave us some alarming statistics concerning seat belt usage. The odds are against you if you DON'T use a seat belt while in a vehicle. The State Police's goal is to increase the awareness of the problem and the use of seat belts by all Louisiana citizens. If you are in a car, buckle up! [By the way, tickets are being issued to those who don't.]

The jackpot was won by Bill Eason, with many protests being filed.
